Hunter Biden to Plead Guilty to Tax Charges, , Makes Deal on Gun Charge.
A court filing in Delaware has revealed
that Biden is charged with not properly filing and paying taxes in 2017 and 2018, 'Variety' reports.
He's also charged with
illegally owning a firearm in 2018.
Biden will plead guilty to the tax charges and has made a probation agreement for the gun charge. .
If he violates the probation agreement, he will be prosecuted for owning the gun while he was a
"user of or addicted to a controlled substance.".
Under the deal, the 53-year-old must stay off drugs for two years and never own a gun again.
Biden's attorney issued a statement.
With the announcement of two agreements between my client, Hunter Biden, and the Unites States Attorney’s Office for the District of Delaware, it is my understanding that the five-year investigation into Hunter is resolved, Christopher J. Clark, Hunter Biden's attorney, via statement.
