A 48-year-old man has been charged in connection with a recent bus crash on Cook Street, which led to ten people being treated in hospital.

Police Scotland confirmed he had been charged with a road traffic offence, and an investigation into the incident is underway.

The roof of a double decker bus was taken off by a bridge.

Next, Homeless Project Scotland are facing a knock back after discovering the van they use to transport food is not compliant with LEZ.

The charity provides free meals for hundreds of people each week under the Umbrella Bridge at Argyle Street and use the van to distribute food to those who cannot travel into the city centre.

They are now calling for a time-limited exemption to allow them to raise funds to buy a new vehicle.

And finally, a Govanhill charity has avoided closure after being given a £75,000 grant by the National Lottery.

Food Train Glasgow was facing immediate closure but can now fund its shopping and delivery services for the next 12 months.
