Senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar made big remarks while addressing the press on May 15 in Mumbai. The politician said, \"Even if 16 MLAs are disqualified, the government of Shinde and Fadnavis will not fall. There is no threat to the government.” Ajit Pawar made the remarks soon after Shiv Sena (UBT) handed over a 79-page letter to the Maharashtra Deputy Speaker seeking expedited action in the disqualification of 16 MLAs of the Eknath Shinde camp. Pawar said any action would not lead to the fall of the government. Pawar said in a 288-member assembly, the Shinde government will not lose its majority mark, even if 16 MLAs are disqualified.
