A Walsall man has been found guilty of possessing explosive material and manuals on how to make improvised explosives and firearms. Vaughn Dolphin fwas arrested last June in Cheshire. Birmingham Crown Court have convicted him of multiple terrorism related charges.

A man has been arrested in connection with several crimes involving stolen vehicles in Birmingham. Tyrone Solomon, 44, from Harborne, is accused of breaking into and stealing cars. The arrest came shortly after West Midlands Police issued an appeal to find the man on social media.

Rail services across the country, including in Birmingham, continue to be impacted as thousands of union members are on strike over pay. Limited services will be in place as strikes affect travel plans across the whole region.
