A day after two FIRs were filed against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh over sexual harassment allegations, the BJP MP claimed that he has the support of the majority of wrestlers. He also claimed that Congress is behind the protest and said the grapplers should have waited for findings of the oversight panel that investigated sexual harassment allegations against the WFI chief.
""I am ready to quit but not as an accused. I have full faith in the Supreme Court. I am completely innocent. Several allegations have been levelled against me. I will co-operate with the investigation agency. The statements of wrestlers have been changing. I want the investigation to happen as soon as possible."
