Australians are having to hand over huge amounts of their data to tech companies to apply for rental properties. That's according to a new report by choice, which claims some of these third-party apps are also pressuring renters into paying extra fees for unnecessary background check. And there are even allegations they encourage rental bidding, as Emilia Terzon reports.
