India logged 5,335 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry. 20 per cent more coronavirus cases were recorded since the previous day. Daily Covid-19 cases have crossed the 5,000-mark for the first time since September 23, 2022. At present, the daily positivity rate stands at 3.32 per cent. The active caseload in the country stands at 25,587. On April 5, Delhi recorded 509 new cases. The positivity rate touched 26.54 per cent in the national capital, highest in nearly 15 months.
