हर वर्ष विजया एकादशी तिथि फाल्गुन मास के कृष्ण पक्ष में एकादशी तिथि को आती है। इस बार विजया एकादशी की तारीख को लेकर कन्फ्यूजन की स्थिति बनी हुई है। कहीं पर एकादशी का व्रत 16 फरवरी को मनाया जा रहा है तो कहीं 17 फरवरी को। पद्म पुराण में बताया गया है कि इस एकादशी का व्रत करने से व्यक्ति को हर क्षेत्र में विजय मिलती है और सभी पाप भी नष्ट हो जाते हैं। इस व्रत के करने से वाजपेय यज्ञ के बराबर पुण्य फल प्राप्त होता है और शत्रु भी परास्त होते हैं। इस व्रत का प्रभाव हार को जीत में बदल देता है।

Every year Vijaya Ekadashi Tithi falls on Ekadashi Tithi in Krishna Paksha of Phalgun month. This time there is confusion regarding the date of Vijaya Ekadashi. At some places the fast of Ekadashi is being observed on 16th February and at some places on 17th February.
