Bhopal Gas Tragedy: दो दिसंबर 1984 (2 December 1984) की देर रात. लोग गहरी नींद में थे. और, करीब 45 टन खतरनाक मिथाइल आइसो-साइनेट गैस (methyl isocyanate gas) एक कारखाने से लीक हो गई. ये कंपनी अमेरिकी फर्म यूनियन कार्बाइड कॉर्पोरेशन (Union Carbide Corporation) की भारतीय सहायक कंपनी थी. गैस कारखाने के आसपास बसी घनी आबादी वाले इलाकों में फैल गई. इससे तुरंत हजारों लोगों की मौत हो गई.
