Barisan Nasional's Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has won by a razor thin majority of 348 to retain the Bagan Datuk parliamentary seat with a total of 16,578 votes. Pakatan Harapan's Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin was not far behind with 16,230 votes.
