CS:GO player Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen was already making a name for himself as an incredible young talent from Finland before a controversial ban seemed to end his career just as it was beginning.

After a VAC ban was discovered in connection to an account he had once owned, Jamppi was handed a permanent ban from CS:GO Majors by Valve, derailing an impending move to the OG squad being assembled by NBK and Aleksib.

Determined to fight what he felt was an unfair ban, Jamppi made headlines by instigating a lawsuit against Valve - but before any conclusion has been reached, Finnish organization ENCE has already taken a chance and signed the banned prodigy.

It's not out of the question that Jamppi could ultimately be vindicated, but for now he remains ineligible to compete at Majors - so why would a team that appeared in a Major final not so long ago take the risk of picking him up?
