Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is planning to submit a written proposal to the United Nations to establish a commission comprised of three world leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to promote a five-year global truce.

"I will make the proposal in writing. I'll present it to the UN. I've been saying it, and I'm hoping the media will help us spread it. Because they do not speak when it is inconvenient for them," MSN web portal quoted Obrador as saying during a press conference.
