The Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill was passed by Dewan Rakyat today. It provides the right to redress for any person who has been sexually harassed, and expands legal options for survivors by creating a special closed-door tribunal, with powers to order a range of remedies, including monetary compensation, issuing an apology, or counselling.
