Hundreds of people have queued around the block in a city centre after a coffee chain gave out free drinks and doughnuts. Locals in Bradford, West Yorks., queued for more than an hour for their caffeine fix at the city's new Dunkin Donuts store today (Wed). To launch its official opening, the chain offered t-shirts and baseball caps to the first 50 customers through its doors. Lucky recipients would be entitled to free coffee or doughnuts every day in June. And customers were invited to 'dunk to win' for another chance to grab a freebie. Video footage shows the staggering amount of people lining up to be in with a chance of grabbing a free doughnut or goody bag. Local Hosaam Qureshi said: “These are some of the best doughnuts in the world. I’m a huge foodie and I love sweet treats. "I travel around to try new foods but it's great to have this in Bradford.” Established in Massachusetts in the 1950s, Dunkin' has since spread to 46 countries, with 22 UK stores.
