மிகவும் பழமையான மொழியான தமிழ் மொழியை நாடு முழுவதும் பரப்ப வேண்டும் என்று தமிழக ஆளுநர் ஆர்.என். ரவி கூறியுள்ளார். தமிழை பிற மாநிலங்களில் மூன்றாவது மொழியாக சேர்க்க முயற்சி செய்வேன் என்றும் சென்னை பல்கலைக்கழக பட்டமளிப்பு விழாவில் பேசிய ஆளுநர் ஆர்.என். ரவி தெரிவித்துள்ளர்.

Governor of Tamil Nadu R.N. Ravi has said Tamil is an ancient language it should be spread all over the country. Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the University of Chennai, Governor RN Ravi said that he would try to add Tamil as a third language in other states.
