Dewan Rakyat was not able to vote on a constitutional amendment that was tabled at a special sitting yesterday - which was meant to pave the way for an anti-hopping law. Instead, a new Parliamentary Select Committee will be established to further deliberate the Bill. Another special sitting is now expected to be called in May to consider and pass the revised amendments. Are such delays part of the process of creating better laws?
