Punjab is all set to vote to elect its next government on February 20. Punjab will vote in a single phase. Counting of votes will take place on March 10. This time, the ruling Congress is facing tough competition from BJP, the AAP and the Akali Dal-BSP combine. BJP has allied with former chief minister Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress. Congress announced Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi as its chief ministerial candidate. AAP's CM face is Bhagwant Mann.
