Victoria has recorded a small drop in new infections, with testing numbers in the state substantially down. Another three more Victorians have died due to the virus, and 7,172 new cases have been recorded. The new cases were detected from 48,252 test results recorded yesterday, as testing sites continue to face heavy demand.
