Signs NSW Omicron wave easing as hospitalisations continue to fall

There are positive signs that the omicron wave in NSW is easing. The number of people in hospital with COVID has dropped to its lowest level in almost a month. Non-urgent elective surgery has also resumed in private hospitals in Sydney, and all hospitals in regional NSW.
