New Year celebrations at Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir's Katra turned into mourning when 12 devotees died in a stampede. About 13 people are said to be injured in this painful incident. At present, relief and rescue work is going on. The incident is said to have happened at quarter past three in the night. During the Corona period, questions have arisen regarding the stampede in the temple.

जम्मू कश्मीर (Jammu Kashmir) के कटरा में वैष्णों देवी मंदिर (Mata Vaishno Devi stampede) में नए साल (New Year 2022) का जश्न उस समय में मातम बदल गया जब भगदड़ मचने से 12 श्रद्धालुओं की मौत हो गई. इस दर्दनाक घटना में करीब 13 लोग घायल बताए जा रहे हैं. फिलहाल राहत एवं बचाव कार्य जारी है. घटना रात पौने तीन बजे की बताई जा रही है. कोरोना काल में मंदिर में भगदड़ को लेकर सवाल खड़े हो गए हैं.
