Delhi, Mumbai record surge in Covid cases; ECI says parties against putting off polls; more

Mumbai and Delhi recorded a big spike in fresh Covid-19 cases on Thursday. Mumbai registered 3,671 fresh cases of coronavirus, while Delhi recorded 1,313 fresh Covid cases, the highest single-day spike since May 26. Meanwhile, in a press conference on Thursday, the Election Commission said that all political parties are in favour of conducting elections on time.
