Three people were killed and over 40 were left injured in a fire that broke out in Indian Oil Corporation’s Haldia Refinery in West Bengal. The incident took place on December 21 afternoon and the refinery is located in West Bengal's Purba Medinipur district. In a statement, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) said the incident took place at a unit of the refinery during shutdown related works.
