In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the politics is hot regarding the lathi charge on the protesting students. The opposition has started besieging the Yogi government of the state. In fact, on Wednesday evening, the police brutally lathi-charged the students who were taking out a candle march demanding teacher recruitment. The police ran and beat the students. Former CM Akhilesh Yadav and AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh have raised questions on this.
