Former Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) Vinod Rai has tendered an unconditional apology to Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam who had filed a defamation case against him for his remarks in 2014 that the latter had asked him to drop former prime minister Manmohan Singh’s name from 2G spectrum report. पूर्व CAG Vinod Rai ने गुरुवार को Congress नेता Sanjay Nirupam से बिना शर्त माफी मांगी. दरसल ये मामला 2G स्पेक्ट्रम से जुड़ा है. मामले में Vinod Rai ने ये माफी संजय निरुपम का नाम उन सांसदों में बताने के लिए मांगी. जिन्होंने 2जी स्पेक्ट्रम आवंटन पर CAG की रिपोर्ट Manmohan Singh का नाम ना लेने का दबाव डाला था. जिसमें कांग्रेस नेता संजय निरुपम का नाम भी शामिल था. जिसकी वजह से विनोद राय ने ये माफी मांगी.
