Lockie Ferguson will bowl in a competitive match for the first time since the 2019 World Cup final when he returns from injury for the New Zealand XI in England's tour opener on Sunday (October 27). Ferguson suffering a fractured right thumb on last month's Sri Lanka tour. The 28-year-old said he can't wait to get back on the field. He was able to do a lot of exercises but had to wait until the fracture had fully healed to resume fielding. The Black Caps will play five T20s and two Tests against England, starting November 1.
