सुहागिन महिलाएं पति की लंबी आयु के लिए कार्तिक माह की चतुर्थी तिथि को करवा चौथ का व्रत रखती हैं। कार्तिक महीने में हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार करवा चौथ का चंद्रमा आता है। ऐसे में इस साल 2021 में रविवार 24 अक्टूबर को करवाचौथ का व्रत रखा जाएगा। वहीं चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य देने के बाद इस व्रत का समापन होता है। बताया जाता है कि इस बार करवा चौथ पर 5 साल के बाद शुभ योग बन रहा है, जिसके तहत करवाचौथ के व्रत की पूजा रोहिणी नक्षत्र में की जाएगी। इसके अलावा यह व्रत रविवार को होने के कारण इस पर सूर्यदेव का भी शुभ प्रभाव पड़ेगा।
