Vaccination rates in remote, Indigenous communities in Queensland continue to lag the rest of the state by as much as thirty per cent. Matthew Cooke is the Chairman of the Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council. He says it's a challenge that needs to be addressed with clear messaging and a broader effort to repair trust in government from Indigenous communities.
