Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi met Navjot Singh Sidhu on October 18 in Chandigarh hours after the PPCC chief made his letter to Sonia Gandhi public. Sidhu on October 15 wrote to Sonia Gandhi highlighting 'priority areas Congress-led Punjab government must deliver upon'. The Punjab assembly election is likely to be carried out in the first quarter of March.
