Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress, allies of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra, have called for Maharashtra Bandh today to protest the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri. Bandh is being celebrated peacefully across Maharashtra with wide public support. There are reports of stone pelting in some places, which is not true. No one should be involved in such activities.
