The Energy Minister says it is time to get more electric vehicles on the nation's roads.

And he says he will soon be seeking Cabinet's approval to open up the local electric vehicle market with a number of incentives and policies.

This as he opened a new NP fuel station that has what he said is the first public electric vehicle charging portal in this country.
