Speaking exclusively with India Today’s Shiv Aroor, BJP spokesperson Vivek Reddy said the Karnataka government was right in passing the Karnataka Religious Structures (Protection) Bill to protect unauthorised religious structures.

Vivek Reddy said that demolishing temples and other religious structures could have created disharmony in public. Thus, the Karnataka government did the right thing by introducing a bill to protect them, he said.
