Ahead of Karnataka Assembly elections, Congress Leader Shashi Tharoor on April 09 hit out at BJP in Bengaluru. He claimed that people are seeing Congress party as a respectable alternative to the misgovernance in Karnataka.

Shashi Tharoor said, “People are interested very much in seeing Congress as respectable alternative to the misgovernance they've endured in the last 4 years. People in Bengaluru particularly see that their city has such great potential, it is so sad that the city was evidently the most favoured destination for IT investment till a few years ago. Now, the investment is plummeting for last 3-4 years.”
