Gol ($GOL@Brazil), a commercial airline out of Brazil, has announced a 3-year codeshare agreement with American Airlines ($AAL@US). Additionally, the airline will receive a $200 million equity investment from American. Gol previously agreed to codesharing with American—this deal extends that partnership. As Gol works with American, it can expand routes for its customers throughout North and South America. Shares of American have been trading higher since Tuesday.
