Hearing a petition challenging the appointment of Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana, the High Court has issued a notice on Wednesday. The court has sought a response from the central government. The appointment of Rakesh Asthana has been opposed by the petitioner and it has been termed as a violation of the rules. The next hearing of this case will be on September 8.

दिल्ली पुलिस कमिश्नर ( Delhi Police Commissioner) राकेश अस्थाना (Rakesh Asthana) की नियुक्ति को चुनौती देने वाली याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए हाईकोर्ट (Delhi High Court) ने बुधवार को नोटिस जारी किया है. कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार से जवाब मांगा है. याचिकाकर्ता द्वारा राकेश अस्थाना की नियुक्ति का विरोध किया गया है और इसे नियमों का उल्लंघन बताया गया है. इस मामले की अगली सुनवाई 8 सितंबर को होगी.
