An Indigenous man from Dubbo has become the first person in Western NSW to die from COVID in this outbreak. The rate of first vaccination among Indigenous people in Dubbo is less than half that of the non-Indigenous population. The Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians, Linda Burney, says communities need urgent assistance.
