During a joint news conference with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday, US Vice President Kamala Harris said the US’ role in the Indo-Pacific and South China Sea will continue to be played.

Lee said Singapore would offer the US support for evacuations from Afghanistan and hoped that the country does not become an epicenter for terrorism again.
