The Lord Jagannath Temple reopened today (Aug 23) for all devotees including people from outside Puri after a gap of 4 months. The darshan of the Holy trinity was barred at the 12th-century shrine since April 24 this year, after the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic hit Odisha. The temple was also closed for public during Ratha Jatra.
