Continuous hearing is going on in the Supreme Court regarding the use of Section 66A of the IT Act. The Central Government had filed a reply in the Supreme Court. In response, the central government had said that the matter of law and order is a state subject. Now the Supreme Court has given a strong reaction on the registration of the case. Also, it has issued notices to the states, union territories and all high courts to put a stop to this.

IT Act की Section 66A के इस्तेमाल को लेकर Supreme Court में लगातार सुनवाई जारी है. केंद्र सरकार ने Supreme Court में जवाब दाखिल किया था. जवाब में केंद्र सरकार ने कहा था कि कानून-व्यवस्था का मामला राज्य का विषय है. अब मुकदमे दर्ज किए जाने पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कड़ी प्रतिक्रिया दी है. साथ ही, उसने इस पर रोक लगाने के लिए states, union territories प्रदेशों और सभी उच्च न्यायालयों को नोटिस जारी किया है.
