But after then Atanu came back and got tie the round with 27-27 to the repeater drawn later.There were two rounds tie between the two. The match was tied 5-5 after which the winner was decided through a shootout in which Atanu Das won.

भारत के तीरंदाज अतुन दास ने भी शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए अंतिम 8 में जगह बना ली है। उन्होंने ओलंपिक गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट साउथ कोरिया के ओह जिन-हाइक को हराया है। अतनु की शुरुवात उतनी ख़ास नहीं रही और वो इस मुकाबले के पहले सेट में 25-26 के अंको से हार गए। मगर उसके बाद दूसरे सेट में उन्होंने अच्छी वापसी करते हुए दूसरे सेट को 27-27 अंको के साथ टाई कर लिया। दोनों के बीच दो दौर टाई रहे। मैच 5-5 से टाई रहा जिसके बाद विजेता का फैसला शूटआउट के ज़रिये हुआ जिसमे अतनु दास ने जित हासिल की।
