Dhanbad station will be made world class. Dhanbad station has been selected under the station redevelopment plan. Along with Dhanbad, Barauni, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction will also be made world class. The responsibility of making the stations world class has been entrusted to the Railway Land Development Authority.

धनबाद स्टेशन को वर्ल्ड क्लास बनाया जाएगा। धनबाद स्टेशन का चयन स्टेशन पुनर्विकास योजना के तहत किया गया है। धनबाद के साथ-साथ बरौनी, सीतामढ़ी, दरभंगा और पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जंक्शन को भी विश्वस्तरीय बनाया जाएगा। स्टेशनों को वर्ल्ड क्लास बनाने की जिम्मेवारी रेलवे लैंड डेवलपमेंट ऑथोरिटी को सौंपी गई है।
