According to Hindu religion, the date of Amavasya comes in every month. In this way, there are only 12 Amavasya in a year. When this Amavasya falls on Monday, it is called Somavati Amavasya. This time Somavati Amavasya will fall on 12 April. Which will be the first and last Somavati Amavasya of this year i.e. 2021. That is, only one Somvati Amavasya will come this year. In such a situation, the importance of this Somvati Amavasya increases even more.

हिन्दू धर्म के अनुसार हर महीने में अमावस्या की तिथि आती है. इस प्रकार एक साल में केवल 12 अमावस्या पड़ती है. यह अमावस्या जब सोमवार को पड़ती है तो इसे सोमवती अमावस्या कहते हैं. इस बार सोमवती अमावस्या 12 अप्रैल को पड़ेगी. जो कि इस साल यानी 2021 की यह पहली और आखिरी सोमवती अमावस्या होगी. अर्थात इस साल केवल एक सोमवती अमावस्या आयेगी. ऐसी दशा में इस सोमवती अमावस्या का महत्त्व और भी बढ़ जाता है.
