Members of the opposition Congress held protests across the state, condemning chief minister Tirath Rawat’s “ripped jeans” remark. The chief minister on Tuesday had said women clothes like ripped jeans set a bad example for children and ultimately led to degradation of the society.

उत्तराखंड के नए नवेले सीएम तीरथ सिंह रावत ने पिछले दिनों विवादित बयान दिया. उन्होंने औरतों के कपड़ों को लेकर बयान दिया. कहा है कि औरतों को फटी हुई जीन्स में देखकर हैरानी होती है. उनके मन में ये सवाल उठता है कि इससे समाज में क्या संदेश जाएगा.सीएम के बयान पर बवाल अभी भी जारी है. अब महिला कांग्रेस की कार्यकर्ताओं ने दिल्ली के कनॉट प्लेस में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया.
