People of Uttarakhand react to Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat's comment on ripped jeans. Most people questioned why is the chief minister not talking issues that actually matter like unemployment, women's safety and education. Many also said that it is nobody's business telling a woman what she should be wearing.

सीएम तीरथ सिंह रावत ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि उनकी बात अगर किसो बुरी लगी हो तो वह इसके लिए माफ़ी चाहते है. उन्होंने कहा कि वे ऐसे लोगों से माफ़ी मांगते हैं, जिन्हें उनके बयान से तकलीफ़ पहुंची है. CM ने ये भी कहा कि फटी जींस पहनने वालों से उन्हें कोई परहेज नहीं नहीं है. हालांकि उत्तराखंड में ही महिलाओं ने उनके बयान पर नाराजगी जाहिर की है.
