In West Bengal, BJP state president Dilip Ghosh will stay away from election season. Dilip Ghosh himself said that his name will be excluded from the list of Assembly candidates. Explaining the reason for this, Dilip Ghosh has said that the party has taken this decision so that I can campaign in the states. Dilip Ghosh said, BJP has decided that as party president, the responsibility of campaigning all over the state will be under my leadership and accordingly I am also working.

पश्चिम बंगाल में बीजेपी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष दिलीप घोष चुनावी समर से दूर रहेंगे। खुद दिलीप घोष ने कहा कि विधानसभा प्रत्याशियों की लिस्ट से उनका नाम बाहर रहेगा। इसकी वजह बताते हुए दिलीप घोष ने कहा है कि पार्टी ने यह फैसला इसलिए लिया है ताकि मैं राज्यों में चुनाव प्रचार कर सकूं। दिलीप घोष ने कहा, बीजेपी ने निर्णय लिया है कि पार्टी अध्यक्ष होने के नाते पूरे प्रदेश में चुनाव प्रचार करने का जिम्मा मेरे नेतृत्व में होगा और इसी के अनुसार मैं भी काम कर रहा हूं.
