In view of the next year's assembly elections in Uttarakhand, the BJP has made a change in both power and organization leadership. After the Chief Minister, the BJP has also changed its state president. BJP has replaced Banshidhar Bhagat and appointed Madan Kaushik as the new state president. It is being said that Banshidhar Bhagat will be given a place in the new cabinet.

उत्‍तराखंड में अगले साल होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव को देखते हुए बीजेपी ने सत्ता और संगठन दोनों नेतृत्व में परिवर्तन कर दिया है. मुख्यमंत्री के बाद बीजेपी ने अब अपना प्रदेश अध्यक्ष भी बदल दिया है. बीजेपी ने बंशीधर भगत को हटाकर मदन कौशिक को नया प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बनाया है. कहा जा रहा है कि बंशीधर भगत को नए मंत्रिमंडल में जगह दी जाएगी.
