Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV will no longer appear on your setup box. Because both these channels have been merged. The name of the new channel will be Parliament TV. This means that the proceedings of both the houses can now be seen on Parliament TV. Not only this, there will also be programs related to current affairs in Hindi and English on this new platform. This merger was reported in the month of June last year, while on Monday it was officially announced by the office of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat.

लोकसभा टीवी और राज्यसभा टीवी अब आपके सेटअप बॉक्स पर नहीं दिखेगा. क्योंकि इन दोनों चैनल को मर्ज कर दिया गया है. नए चैनल का नाम संसद टीवी होगा. इसका मतलब है कि अब दोनों सदनों की कार्यवाही संसद टीवी पर देखी जा सकेगी. इतना ही नहीं इसी नए प्लेटफॉर्म पर हिन्दी और अंग्रेजी में करेंट अफेयर्सस से जुड़े कार्यक्रम भी होंगे. इस विलय के बारे में पिछले साल जून के महीने में सूचना दी गई थी जबकि सोमवार को राज्यसभा सचिवालय के कार्यालय की ओर से आधिकारिक रूप से इसकी घोषणा की गई
