Rajasthan Royals on Sunday announced that Trevor Penney has joined their coaching ranks as the lead assistant coach, for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Trevor Penney will work closely with the Royals' Director of Cricket Kumar Sangakkara, captain Sanju Samson and the leadership team comprising the coaching staff.

आईपीएल फ्रेंचाइजी राजस्थान रॉयल्स ने रविवार को मुख्य कोच एंड्रयू मैकडोनाल्ड से आपसी सहमति के बाद अलग होने का फैसला किया, इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के शुरुआती चरण का खिताब जीतने वाली राजस्थान की टीम ने घोषणा की कि उन्होंने जिंबाब्वे के पूर्व क्रिकेटर ट्रेवर पेनी को आगामी सत्र के लिये मुख्य सहायक कोच नियुक्त है। पिछले संस्करण में राजस्थान का प्रदर्शन बहुत ही निराशाजनक रहा था, और उसने 14 में से 6 जीते थे, जबकि 8 मैच गंवाए थे।
