In the midst of ongoing tensions with India in eastern Ladakh, the Chinese Army has deployed its most lethal tank Type 99A on the Karakoram hills. According to the Chinese government newspaper Global Times, this Chinese tank has been deployed at an altitude of about 5000 meters. China has also recently included the first batch of its new Type 15 tank which will enter the battlefield in conjunction with the Type 99A.
