Bernardo finds out that a gang of bandits on the run from the Army is planning to rob the house of Don Plata, who is away on a trip with his wife and has left his daughter, Arianna, alone. Lolita has agreed to take care of her. In the end, Bernardo has a chance to show he is no longer the little boy who Diego is always teasing. In fact, he manages to foil the robbery and emerge as a hero.
