In fact, it is his ardent wish to kill the Governor, and then spread a rumor citing that he has committed suicide out of shame for betraying the Army by taking bribes from Kapital. Luckily Diego and Bernardo come to the rescue by saving the Governor and revealing the misdeeds of the Colonel and his sidekick, Lieutenant Gabriel.
